New Skillz

This baby is growing like gangbusters! His hair is back (much lighter), he no longer thinks that his bouncy chair was made to destroy him, and he can hang out on the activity mat for a while (and only get into a couple of arguments with the forest creatures). This past week he started flipping over from tummy to back, they say in another month or so he'll add back to front and we'll have barrel rolls! He also spends a good amount of tummy time pretending to swim, but here's hoping that crawling isn't a skill he gets super early. Without further ado... some of the many faces of our silly little bug.

First Vacay!

To celebrate Ari turning 8 weeks old we clearly needed to take him on a plane for his first vacation! Just kidding... but somehow we did think it would be no big deal to take him on our yearly Spring Training adventure, and heck, tack on three days in Sedona.

In reality, although taking an infant who is too little for sunscreen to Arizona is perhaps a misguided challenge, we both had a great time and proved to ourselves we could do it. Ari was awesome on the planes, did his best in the car and was generally tolerant of all the non-baby activities we made him participate in. Plus Ari got in his first Giants games, spent time with friends...and in the end had spent a tenth of his life in Arizona.

2 Months already?

I recognize the irony of posting this two weeks late (I am getting faster....) but it is crazy how fast these first couple of months have gone (that being said, life pre-Ari feels like a long time ago!) funny how time works. We are having so much fun already, I can't imagine how much fun it will be when he has a couple more tricks up his sleeve.

At his 8 week appointment he was: 12 lbs 3 oz, 24 inches and in the 90th percentile for head size :)

He is full of smiles (although a little camera shy), loves to play on the changing table and even sleeps some decent chunks.

We are loving the adventure, thanks for following along!
